About The Position

Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision. We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our Distribution Business in (Albuquerque, NM). We offer competitive pay and benefits! In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment • Managing customer parts counter activities including receiving parts calls, greeting walk-in customers, and assisting with parts inquiries • Processing customer transactions accurately including cash, check, and credit card payments • Maintaining strong internal and external customer relationships by addressing needs and resolving issues in a timely manner • Escalating complex customer concerns to senior parts personnel or supervisors when necessary • Supporting sourcing and fulfillment of complex or hard-to-find parts requests • Utilizing systems, catalogs, and other resources to identify and procure parts efficiently and cost-effectively • Collaborating with technicians to identify correct parts and ensure timely availability • Managing stock levels, shipping and receiving activities, warehouse operations, and inventory-related tasks • Supporting core processing and other parts-related warehouse functions as assigned • Identifying opportunities to upsell supporting products and services where appropriate • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional customer parts counter and warehouse environment Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
