About The Position

The position of Set Up Technician reports to the Production Manager and has multiple responsibilities related to the efficient operation of the extrusion lines. The primary duties are related to new order set-up, maintenance of all extrusion equipment, and support for daily extrusion operations. Position is first shift, Monday - Friday, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm. Train as an extrusion operator to learn machines, products and processes. Set up new work orders as dictated by scheduling and the set-up specifications Complete basic repairs on extrusion and support equipment Work directly with the Production Manager to coordinate plans for pending work orders Support quality assurance efforts through daily monitoring of the extrusion equipment and the products being produced Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements

Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior mechanical or maintenance experience required
Must be detail-oriented and able to work unsupervised
Have a strong commitment to safety and work well in a team environment
