The Secretary ensures transparency, organization, and continuity by accurately documenting meetings, maintaining official records, and managing internal communications. Through efficient administrative support, the Secretary upholds institutional memory and promotes accountability within Student Government. The SGA Secretary is responsible for: Upholding and enforcing the provisions of the Constitution Assist in making immediate necessary decisions concerning the Student Government Assist in resolving any disputes over the interpretation of the Constitution, with advice from the SGA Advisor Attend all meetings of the Student Government Association Assist in approving stipends for the elected SGA members Have the right to call meetings to order between the Executive Board and Committee chairs as necessary.
