About The Position

We’re looking for a dependable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep operations running smoothly by managing incoming and outgoing materials with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Keen attention to details and accuracy in maintaining records.
• Basic computer skills including electronic mail and Microsoft office Applications.
• High schools diploma or equivalent and /or one-year related experience.
• Lifting and moving materials that could weight up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all shipping and receiving activities ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality and properly document the inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed following safety protocols.
• Move the materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Prepare packing list and Bill of Lading.
• Load/unload material as required.
• Prepare and package the shipments to route to customer or vendor in accordance with company standards.
• Pick stock and, issue materials and kit the material for work in process jobs.
• Notify appropriate personnel when materials have arrived.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Pick and scan orders accurately.
• Other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
