SHIPPING AND WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT OVERVIEW: We are currently seeking a Shipping and Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This friendly, detail-oriented staff member will play a crucial role in the operation of the warehouse. The Shipping and Warehouse Assistant will be required to assist with shipments, maintain up-to-date documentation, and support other departments, as necessary. This position will report directly to the US Shipping Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of successful prior experience in shipping department
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry abilities
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout shift
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task
- Ability to recall information (e.g., policies, procedures, product information) or find it as needed
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Team player attitude
- Ability to pass pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
Responsibilities
- Assist with US Domestic Shipments
- Complete product paperwork and documentation accurately and completely
- Maintain organized and efficient warehouse storage
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
- Aid the Receiving Department, as needed
- Support other departments, when necessary
- Assist in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
