The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping outbound orders to customers and partners. This role ensures orders are fulfilled on time, properly documented, and packaged to PayRange quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Familiarity with shipping systems and carrier portals is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and comfort using ERP/WMS systems
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders based on sales orders and shipping schedules
- Verify item accuracy, quantities, serial numbers, and required documentation prior to shipment
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Coordinate daily carrier pickups (e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight carriers)
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling to prevent damage during transit
- Update shipment status in the ERP/WMS system and resolve basic shipping discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area
