About The Position

A high-precision aerospace plating facility seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead. This is not a "general warehouse" role. You will bring your professional skills to our team, managing high-value customer-owned assets using Steel Core ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Power BI analytics. If you have mastered AS9100/NADCAP traceability and "Toll Processing" in a metal finishing environment, this is your next career move.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in Shipping/Receiving within an Aerospace Plating, Heat Treat, or Metal Finishing environment.
• Software: Proven proficiency in Steel Core ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central, or Oracle NetSuite.
• 3+ years using Forklift & Pallet experience
• Compliance: Deep understanding of AS9100 or NADCAP documentation requirements.
• Skills: Ability to read Blueprints; experience with RF Scanners; expert knowledge of Weight vs. Piece Count (Actual vs. Theoretical weight).
• Logistics: Experience coordinating LTL, flatbed, and specialized aerospace couriers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing production environment

Responsibilities

• ERP: Execute all inbound/outbound transactions in Steel Core ERP. Manage Backflush material processes for plating consumables and chemical inventory.
• Aerospace Compliance: Audit and validate all Certification Packages, Mill Test Reports (MTRs), and Certificates of Conformance (CoC) prior to shipment release.
• Toll Inventory Management: Perform rigorous Purchase Order (PO) verification for customer-furnished materials. Ensure 100% traceability by heat number, lot, and dimensional weight.
• Data-Driven Logistics: Utilize Power BI dashboards to monitor production flow, prioritize "Outside Services" (O/S) shipments, and ensure 100% on-time delivery (OTD).
• Technical Receiving: Review blueprints and technical work instructions to verify part geometry and quantity against incoming documentation.
• Precision Packaging: Develop and implement secure packaging standards for delicate aerospace components to prevent FOD (Foreign Object Damage) or finish degradation.
