About The Position

Join the team of a precision plating services company for the aerospace industry. Seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving professional to support daily logistics, inventory flow, and customer shipment operations, with a process improvement mindset. Candidates with plating, aerospace manufacturing, metal finishing, or precision machining experience are strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Three years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with purchase order verification and inventory control
• Experience using RF scanners or inventory systems
• Knowledge of material traceability and documentation requirements
• Familiarity with ERP systems and backflush processes
• Ability to read technical documents or blueprints
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aerospace, plating, or metal finishing
• Forklift experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer shipments according to aerospace requirements
• Coordinate outside service processing and shipments to vendors
• Review and correct certifications and shipping documentation
• Package parts securely for shipment
• Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
• Prepare certification packages and schedule pickups
• Load outgoing shipments safely
• Coordinate with production, quality, and customers to meet deadlines
• Verify purchase orders and incoming documentation
• Perform quantity verification and inventory counts
• Investigate damaged shipments and discrepancies
• Communicate with customers regarding receiving issues
• Unload incoming materials safely
• Review blueprints and technical documents
• Label and identify incoming materials
• Maintain product hold areas as required
• Track customer-supplied materials and gages
• Follow work instructions and procedures
• Stage materials for production
