To become the world’s greatest baker, we need the world’s greatest team members Summary: Reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Reliability, the Site Maintenance Manager (Leader) is responsible for supporting Maintenance Coordinators and the Maintenance Team. In this position, you will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinators, the Operations group, Maintenance Shift Leaders, the central Maintenance Team, contractors, and the Engineering Team. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in a similar role in Maintenance.
  • Bakery, food, or CPG manufacturing experience is a definite asset.
  • Ability to lead, organize, and succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly growing manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work different hours/weekends.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency, who can lead and influence others.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Maintenance best practices are standardized and shared across all facilities.
  • Responsible for implementing and managing a preventative maintenance system.
  • Responsible for implementing and managing a work order system.
  • Creation and fostering a preventive/predictive environment.
  • Develop and execute work plans to achieve the department’s goals.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators – downtime, OEE, PM completion %.
  • Responsible for supporting, coaching, and training the Maintenance Team.
  • Ensure the Maintenance Coordinators are effectively managing contract workers, Team Members, and tasks as required.
  • Ensure the Maintenance Coordinators are fulfilling operational needs across multiple facilities.
  • Support and lead major maintenance-related projects across all Plants.
  • Communicate all activities to the Operations Team.
  • Manage and track the Maintenance budget and parts ordering system.
  • A “hands-on” role working very closely with all operational departments daily to provide immediate, timely support to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Customer and Product Centricity - Responds to the needs of both internal and external customers in a timely and courteous manner, showing a sense of urgency; always keeping our products front and center.
