About The Position

Assists the Shift Manager with planning, managing, and coordinating all aspects of an assigned shift for the Slot Department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree in relevant field of study, or four (4) years of Slot Attendant experience including 1 year supervisory level experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of slot machine functions including jackpot payout levels, payout procedures, pay table information and basic machine repair techniques are required.
  • Must have knowledge of Title 31 requirements and the Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must be able to work independently without supervision.
  • Must be able to handle busy and stressful situations.
  • Must be flexible with working hours and days off.
  • Self motivating, responsible and must possess leadership qualities.
  • Possess tact, diplomacy and initiative in resolving of guest or employee concern, and ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains confidentiality on all internal departmental matters, correspondence and proprietary data.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Assumes responsibility of shift operations when the Shift Manager is absent.
  • Assists the Shift Manager in achieving goals and objectives of the Slot Department.
  • Monitors Slot Department activities and Slot Department employees for adherence and compliance to all regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Accurately process proper forms in accordance with Title 31 requirements and Internal Control procedures.
  • Assists Shift Manager in coordination of schedules to ensure proper work force management and proper overtime management.
  • Access gaming device historical data, device option review and perform actions resulting in guest dispute resolution and/or proper machine function.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • May issue point redemptions to customers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned by Slot Shift Manager.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
