About The Position

58 Social is seeking an energetic, skilled, and hospitality‑driven Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a passion for craft cocktails, exceptional guest service, and a commitment to creating memorable social experiences. As a Bartender at 58 Social, you’ll prepare high‑quality beverages, engage with guests, and help maintain an inviting, upbeat atmosphere.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high‑volume or craft‑cocktail environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and have required certifications (e.g., RBS, food handler card)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., cases of bottles, kegs, etc.)
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions associated with bar tasks

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personable service throughout their visit
  • Recommend drinks and menu items based on guest preferences
  • Create a welcoming environment that reflects the 58 Social brand and culture
  • Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non‑alcoholic beverages consistently and according to recipes
  • Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, classic cocktails, and house specialties
  • Manage drink tickets efficiently during peak hours
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
  • Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and bar prep
  • Work closely with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth service
  • Support teammates in creating a cohesive, positive work environment
