About The Position

World Choice Investments, parent company to Dolly Parton's Stampede, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, and other family-friendly brands, is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Social Media Associate to support the creation and distribution of social and digital content across our growing portfolio of entertainment attractions in multiple locations. This entry-level role works closely with the Social & Digital Media Specialist to help bring our brands to life on social platforms. You will support day-to-day content needs, including scheduling, content capture, community engagement, influencer coordination, and basic performance analysis and reporting. Our ideal candidate is creative, organized, and eager to learn in an exciting, fast-paced, in-person environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in social media content creation or related experience (internships or academic experience welcome)
  • Working knowledge of major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
  • Experience capturing photo and video content using a smartphone or basic camera equipment
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to grow in a hands-on digital marketing role

Nice To Haves

  • Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar beginner-friendly editing tools
  • Exposure to influencer marketing or brand collaborations
  • Experience with or interest in live entertainment, tourism, museums, or family-focused attractions

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across brand social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
  • Support caption writing and proofreading to ensure posts are engaging, on-brand, and aligned with platform best practices.
  • Help maintain content calendars and ensure posts are published accurately and on time.
  • Capture photo and video content for social use during on-site shoots, shows, events, and spontaneous opportunities.
  • Organize and tag content assets to ensure easy access for the broader marketing team.
  • Assist with basic editing and formatting of social assets using approved tools and templates.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and mentions to support timely, positive, and brand-appropriate engagement.
  • Flag customer service issues, trends, or notable feedback to the Social & Digital Media Specialist, Director of Digital Marketing, and other leadership as applicable to internal best practices.
  • Support the auditing, updating, and ongoing maintenance of local business profiles across platforms, including Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor, and similar directories.
  • Help ensure listings are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained across all locations, including hours, descriptions, imagery, and links, in alignment with brand standards.
  • Assist with influencer and content creator partnerships, including outreach support, communication tracking, and deliverable coordination.
  • Support special campaigns, promotions, and on-site initiatives as needed.
  • Use tools such as Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, and Influencer software to support basic analytics tracking and recurring reporting.
  • Conduct social listening and competitor research to identify trends, audience insights, and content opportunities.
  • Stay current on platform updates, new features, and social media best practices.
