The Role The Social Media Associate strengthens BIC’s omni-channel visibility by supporting the development of engaging content, managing social campaigns and external partners, and coordinating influencer initiatives. This role ensures consistent brand messaging, proactive trend engagement, and seamless execution across platforms. By driving meaningful audience connection and supporting strategic brand objectives, the position contributes to BIC’s growth, relevance, and creative excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience working with social media agencies, influencer campaigns, or content creation teams.
  • Familiarity with omni-channel marketing and cross-functional collaboration preferred.
  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook/X) and social management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Social Strategy & Content Planning Partner with the Omnichannel Lead, marketing teams, and global social teams to support social media strategy and maintain a cohesive, forward-looking content calendar.
  • Agency Management & Campaign Coordination Manage day-to-day coordination with external social media agencies, ensuring alignment with brand standards, timelines, KPIs, and campaign objectives.
  • Influencer Partnerships Support influencer initiatives including identification, outreach coordination, content tracking, performance monitoring, and campaign execution.
  • Community Management & Content Development Oversee community engagement by monitoring social platforms, responding to audiences, and fostering positive brand interactions. Develop posts and visual content as needed to support campaigns and real-time opportunities.
  • Operational & Budget Support Support financial and operational processes including invoice management, budget tracking, and reporting to enable efficient execution of social initiatives.
