About The Position

Holganix is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to grow and strengthen our presence across social platforms. This role will lead the strategy behind how Holganix shows up on channels like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, while helping expand and strengthen our presence on TikTok. The goal is to turn farmer stories, field experiences, and company initiatives into content that drives meaningful engagement and audience growth. You will work closely with our marketing team, video producer, and internal contributors to shape how stories move from the field to our social channels. This role will also participate in conversations with our paid media agency to help ensure social content and campaigns remain aligned with our brand and audience. At Holganix, we revolutionize the way the world grows by manufacturing and distributing a liquid microbial solution (think of it as a probiotic for soil) used primarily by farmers across the United States and Canada. Our solution improves soil health, increases crop yield, and reduces the need for inputs like fertilizer, pesticides, and water, while also helping growers participate in emerging environmental markets.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in social media strategy, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
  • Experience analyzing social media performance metrics and using insights to improve content strategy
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across posts and captions
  • Experience reviewing and guiding content created by others, including non-marketing team members
  • Comfortable collaborating across marketing teams, creative partners, and external agencies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hubspot and Monday.com
  • Experience working with agriculture, rural brands, ag media, or farmer audiences
  • Experience collaborating with video teams or producing short-form social video content
  • Familiarity with influencer or brand ambassador programs
  • Experience working alongside paid media teams or agencies

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy
  • Own the strategic direction of Holganix’s social media presence
  • Develop platform strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms as strategically identified
  • Identify opportunities to grow audience reach, engagement, and community participation
  • Ensure social content consistently reflects the voice, priorities, and audience of the Holganix brand
  • Content Direction
  • Guide how farmer stories, campaigns, and field content translate to social platforms
  • Work closely with the Video Producer to ensure strong video storytelling is adapted for social formats
  • Review and edit captions and posts created by team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and tone
  • Oversee publishing cadence and overall channel consistency
  • Field Content and Ambassador Opportunities
  • Oversee social content contributions from sales and agronomy team members capturing video and photos in the field
  • Explore opportunities to develop relationships with brand ambassadors and industry influencers
  • Analytics and Performance
  • Track social media performance and audience growth across platforms
  • Partner with internal marketing team members responsible for analytics and reporting
  • Use performance data to refine strategy and content direction
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure strong storytelling flows from field to social platforms
  • Participate in conversations with Holganix’s paid media agency to help align organic and paid social strategy
