IHMVCU is recruiting for a Social Media Specialist to join the team! As a credit union serving nearly 160,000 members, we are continually growing our digital presence and strengthen how we connect with members and prospects online. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn social media into a business-building tool. The Social Media Specialist will lead Facebook strategy, content, engagement, and performance for our Mortgage Lenders, Investments team, Insurance team, and Indirect Auto team. This position plays a key role in helping these business lines build visibility, strengthen relationships, and generate sales through effective digital marketing efforts. Summary of Position: The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing Facebook pages that support specific sales teams across the credit union. This role will own content planning, publishing, audience engagement, page performance, and ongoing optimization, with a clear focus on increasing reach, engagement, lead generation, and sales outcomes. This position blends strategy with hands-on execution and requires someone who can think creatively, work independently, and use data to guide decisions. The person in this role will partner closely with internal business line leaders and the Marketing team to ensure content aligns with business goals, reflects the IHMVCU brand, and supports growth across key service areas. Tools you will use: Microsoft suite, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, social media management and monitoring tools, and Google Ads and Analytics. The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
