About The Position

As the Supervisor of Residential Services, you are the backbone of our clinical operations. You will lead a team of Resident Service Coordinators, ensuring that vulnerable seniors receive high-quality case management while maintaining oversight of high-risk cases across three key residential sites.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent Master’s degree in Counseling, Gerontology, or Psychology.
• 3 years of post-Master’s experience in social work is preferred; demonstrated leadership and organizational skills are a must.
• Computer literate (MS Office/Google Suite) with strong writing and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to travel between sites in Brooklyn and Manhattan using mass transit.
• A deep commitment to cultural competency and an understanding of how individual values impact service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision: Provide expert oversight of case management and on-site programming for ESSHI and SARA programs.
• Risk Management: Monitor all "elevated risk" cases and collaborate with the Associate Director to resolve emerging crises.
• Staff Development: Mentor staff through regular case reviews, develop and facilitate training sessions, and supervise MSW interns.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure all case records and statistics meet JASA’s high standards and contract requirements (HRA & NYS DOH).
• Community Leadership: Represent JASA at community conferences and meetings to advocate for senior services.
