About The Position

Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering and architectural design. From its headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S., Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate and financial industries. As a Software Developer I, responsibilities include, but not limited to: Contribute to the development of internal applications, under guidance from the lead developer. Participate in meetings to discuss the development and implementation of software and contributing to meetings with new ideas / improvements. Build new web application features based on project management board tasks, translate business requirements into functional code. Resolve support tickets, focusing on figuring out root causes and building reliable fixes. Monitoring and analyzing the overall performance of internal systems and software builds. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify issues, test/review and improve overall user experience. Document features, fixes, and technical decisions to support knowledge sharing and future development.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+)
  • Basic knowledge of React or similar frontend framework
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs
  • Git version control basics
  • Experience with Node / Express or any backend languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in web development, computer science or closely related field
  • 1-2+ years of related experience

Nice To Haves

  • RPA and Process Automation (UI Path, Microsoft Power Automate, etc)
  • Business Analytics Software (Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
  • Familiarity with basic project management software (Jira, Linear, or related software)
  • Experience with UI component libraries (Examples: Semantic UI, Material UI, Ant Design)
  • Basic understanding of WordPress sites and CSS styling
