About The Position

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Software Developer to support an NGA Program in Springfield, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. Outstanding compensation, benefits and company culture. An active Top-Secret Clearance is required. Software Developer Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures Establish and Improve system monitoring while maintaining established security protocols within development, test, and production systems Works under the guidance of the Scrum Master to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery Provides progress updates to Scrum Master and the team to ensure the management of any delivery risks or concerns Works with the team to plan future sprints, define stories and estimate efforts Works on a range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions, and processes Designs, implements, and maintains application code on various networks Contributes in all phases of the software development life cycle Writes well designed, testable, efficient code Ensures designs are in compliance with specifications Recommends changes to improve established application processes Prepares and produces releases of software components Writes automated unit test cases and evaluation code quality using automated tools Writes automated integration test cases and resolves issues Supports formal testing and resolves test defects Provides technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions Utilizes the customer's enterprise DevSecOps pipeline

Requirements

  • iTS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
  • An active Top-Secret Clearance is required

Responsibilities
