Role summary: As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of technical solutions for small to large projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams. About the team: Our team enhances transportation execution within the supply chain by enabling efficient load creation, tendering, and automation for Fleet and third-party carriers. We develop scalable, reliable software solutions that improve operational efficiency and support omnichannel growth. By leveraging technology and process innovation, the team drives cost optimization, increased visibility, and faster execution. Collaboration, continuous improvement, technical expertise, and a product-focused approach are central to delivering excellence. Requirements

  • Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding standards using languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and defect management to ensure high-quality software solutions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
  • Knowledge of API design, platform development, and component services.
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Strong technical acumen with a focus on iterative development and testing methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain code ensuring alignment with business and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead small engineering groups by providing guidance, documentation, and timelines for project deliverables.
  • Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to enhance continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Conduct unit and regression testing to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Monitor application performance and support maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and scalability.
