About the team: The Finance Data Foundations team manages Finance Plan and Forecast data to support key Finance Business users and downstream operations. The team delivers reliable, scalable solutions aligned with business goals by analyzing requirements, designing robust components, and ensuring high-quality code through continuous development and testing. Emphasizing technical expertise and iterative improvement, members drive innovation in platform design and product strategy. Collaboration and a focus on secure, efficient delivery enable the team to meet evolving financial data needs effectively, supporting critical business functions with precision and agility.

Requirements

Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Experience with API design, platform development, and component services to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Ability to analyze and translate business and technical requirements into functional software components.
Proficiency in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality code.
Familiarity with telemetry, security standards, and automated testing tools to support robust software performance.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
Develop, configure, and maintain code components adhering to coding standards and security policies.
Design and implement APIs and platform services supporting iterative and incremental development.
Build automation scripts to streamline continuous integration and delivery processes.
Execute comprehensive testing, including defect tracking and root cause analysis, to ensure software quality.
Monitor application performance using telemetry and debugging tools, addressing bottlenecks proactively.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align development efforts with product strategy and business objectives.
Mentor peers by sharing technical expertise and promoting best practices in software engineering.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : - Stock
