Requirements
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of relevant experience
- 9 years of Software Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Strong Linux command-line proficiency
- Software development experience with Python (3.x)
- Bash scripting experience
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or containerd
- Experience deploying and managing services in Kubernetes environments
- Familiarity with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible
- Experience using Git for source control
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems in operational environments
- Willingness to learn new languages or technologies, including Rust
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
- Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems
- Background in mission or intelligence environments
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and integrating new features into mission applications
- Troubleshooting production issues and resolving defects in operational systems
- Writing Python and Bash code to support automation and platform functionality
- Deploying and maintaining containerized services in Kubernetes environments
- Collaborating with system engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders
- Integrating COTS, GOTS, and open-source components into existing solutions
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes
- Enhancing system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Documenting changes and contributing to technical planning discussions
