Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field
  • 1 or more years experience in a professional software development environment

Nice To Haves

  • Active security clearance.
  • Professional security certification: CompTIA Security+ or any DoD 8140‑approved certification (e.g., CySA+, CASP, CEH)
  • Coding (C++, Java) or Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) proficiency
  • Familiarity with Open Mission Systems architectures and deployments

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate software services within an Open Mission Systems environment.
  • Deploy, test, and validate reusable ground‑systems capabilities for aerospace missions.
  • Champion DoD‑mandated security at every layer of the software stack.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to ensure high‑performance, secure cloud and hybrid solutions.
  • Document designs, create operational procedures, and provide ongoing technical support.
