Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
• Ability to Obtain a Top Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Python and Java software development
• API design, development, testing, and management
• DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, GitOps, infrastructure as code)
• Cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure a plus)
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Security best practices including vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, and incident response
• Scaled Agile / Agile development environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and APIs using Python and Java.
• Build and support cloud-native systems within AWS environments.
• Implement DevOps and GitOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure scalable and secure system deployment.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Apply security best practices, including vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, and compliance monitoring.
• Contribute to Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous delivery.
• Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve engineering productivity and workflow efficiency.
