The MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bell's MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage in future conflicts. The Bell MV-75 team seeks the top engineering talents from around the industry to design, develop, and deliver the world’s next-generation military aircraft. All work will be performed on site at Bell Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. Must be considered a U.S Person per ITAR/EAR regulations as this role will have access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR 22 CFR 120-130) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR 15 CFR 710-774). Software Process, Tools, and Governance Team Support the Army’s MV‑75 Aircraft program ensuring seamless interaction between Azure DevOps and Dimensions and optimizing DevSecOps pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development processes, tools integration, and automation, with a passion for driving efficiency and quality in safety-critical software development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • At least 2+ years of software development / programming in C/C++
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
  • Experience using YAML for configuration and workflow definition
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
  • Experience working with APIs, web services, XML, and JSON
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy activities using YAML.
  • Manage configuration management processes, including integration between Azure DevOps and Dimensions.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts to support automation, and tool integration.
  • Author and maintain MATLAB scripts to support model‑based software development, including Simulink and Stateflow.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with program and project objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, pipelines, and software processes.
  • Monitor system and pipeline performance; optimize workflows for efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
  • Document software processes, configurations, and guidance on tool usage.
  • Stay up to date with DevSecOps tools, practices, and standards to drive continuous improvement.
