About The Position

This role is a senior, hands-on architecture position focused on designing and delivering complex Field Service Management solutions for large-scale, mission-critical environments. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, translating operational needs into scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures. Working in a consulting-driven, client-facing environment, you will guide solution design from concept through implementation. The position offers strong influence over technical direction, delivery quality, and team development. With broad exposure to enterprise systems and emerging technologies, your work will directly impact digital transformation initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Ten or more years of experience delivering Field Service Management solutions, with strong exposure to utilities or energy environments.
  • Proven experience leading complex FSM implementations and integrating with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, CIS, BI, and data platforms.
  • Strong background in web-based application development and integration technologies including REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Solid understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to recruit, mentor, and develop technical talent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in client-facing and executive-level discussions.
  • Experience in consulting environments delivering high-impact, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and or internationally based on project needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred exposure to FSM platforms, GIS integration, mobile workforce management, and emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, or machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design of Field Service Management solutions tailored to utilities and energy sector requirements.
  • Define architectural blueprints covering system integrations, data flows, security, scalability, and technical standards.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, ensuring alignment with architectural designs, timelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and business analysts to drive cohesive delivery.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand business processes, challenges, and requirements, translating them into functional and technical designs.
  • Present architectural recommendations clearly to stakeholders, explaining design decisions and business value.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and excellence.
  • Establish quality standards through design reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance solution strategies.
