About The Position

As a Solutions Architect at RealPage, you will design and guide end-to-end technical solutions that span multiple products and systems within the Integrated Front Office. This role focuses on translating business needs into cohesive, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions, rather than deep specialization in a single programming language.
You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, QA, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure solution designs align with architectural standards while remaining practical and executable across RealPage’s diverse technology ecosystem.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or senior engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing solutions that span multiple teams or systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing solutions that incorporate AI or intelligent automation, including:
• Agent-based workflows
• Integration of AI services into existing platforms
• Comfort operating within a polyglot engineering environment, with exposure to:
• Java, .NET, Ruby, Python
• React, Angular, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, or highly integrated platform environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and legacy system integration.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Design: Design holistic technical solutions that span services, APIs, data stores, integrations, and user experiences across multiple products.
• Requirements Translation: Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear technical designs.
• Cross-Stack Solution Architecture: Create solution designs that operate across a polyglot environment including Java, .NET, Ruby, Python, and frontend frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Integration Architecture: Design and document system integrations across internal platforms and third-party services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• AI-Aware Solution Design: Design solutions that may incorporate AI-driven components, such as intelligent routing, automation, summarization, or agent-based workflows, while aligning with enterprise standards and governance.
• Delivery Alignment: Work with engineering teams throughout implementation to ensure solutions are built as designed and architectural intent is preserved.
• Documentation & Communication: Produce clear design documents, diagrams, and implementation guidance that support delivery teams.
• Risk Identification: Identify technical risks early and collaborate with stakeholders to define mitigation strategies.
