We give you a world of potential Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Solutions Architect in North America to join our Computershare Technology Services (CCT) team. A role you will love As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for providing solution design and architecture delivery within the Computershare technology team. While working in the CCT Architecture team and you will be collaborating with operational stakeholders, enterprise architects, development teams and infrastructure providers. You will drive technical strategies and ensure that the solutions meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business whilst adhering to Computershare policy and standards. Other key responsibilities include: Working with development functions, business lines, product teams and Technology function (CTS) stakeholders to derive the technology future state and roadmaps. Work with teams to design high-quality solutions that are innovative, stable and resilient, whilst conforming to architectural and security standards. Provide solution design services in support of prioritised business demand. Lead on the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. Actively contribute to owning and designing governance, assurance, standards and policy that form part of the architectural governance process with a view to improving design quality. Understand the current state environment in terms of technology, risk, end of life and technical debt. Oversee and/or support the research, evaluation and selection of new software technology and architecture standards. What you will bring to the role:

Requirements

  • Bring 7+ years of enterprise Java/J2EE experience, including deep expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA, and Hibernate.
  • Utilize strong experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), including schema design, tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience of design and implementation of Cloud-based applications and services.
  • Experience of working with technology vendors.
  • Experience of creating application migration strategies, enabling transition away from legacy technologies.
  • Experience of creating and selling a business case for technology investment.
  • Track record of architecting modern platforms using APIs, Message based integration, ETL and web services.
  • Collaborates and communicates well, builds effective working relationships, influences others, challenges appropriately and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
  • Experience of leading the design and architecture of a large technology project.
  • Significant experience within a complex enterprise context and with architectures spanning multiple technologies.
