Specific Responsibilities Would Include Collaborate with design team to ensure that the vision and objectives are understood and executed and prior to new season for the development of new trends (Style, fabric, washing, trims…etc.) Coordinate fabric development activities from concept through order placement. Track fabric development timelines, including lab dips, strike-offs, sampling, testing, and approvals. Maintain and organize fabric libraries, swatches, and development records. Track product development timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure vendor fill up T&A as soon as salesman sample order is confirmed and updated during production development cycle Ensure meeting company margin set goal. Margin report maintenance. Update SAP and IBT Attend certain merchandising, design and tech meetings. Raise questions when foreseeing potential problems and develop actions to solve them. Participate and monitor activities related to sample production activities. Coordinate in the approval of colors, fabrics and accessories as defined by the design team and keep records up to date to ensure the accuracy of all approvals. Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have 1-3 years of experience in overseas product development/sourcing (apparel) Thorough understanding of fashion apparel retail merchandising Proficient knowledge of fabrics including fabric, color, yarn, garment construction, fit and specifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work well in a team environment and a strong team player Established relationship building skills with cross-functional team. Salary Range: $ 66,300 - $70,000 At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs. Requirements
