About The Position

Serena & Lily is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to join the Sourcing team. The Sourcing Coordinator is detail oriented, thorough and committed to seeing a project through on time. They multi-task efficiently and effectively while being flexible to accommodate the changing needs of the business. This person has a working knowledge of retail math, product performance requirements, and production processes. The Sourcing Coordinator builds strong cross-functional relationships. This is a self-motivated person that acts as an owner and excels in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience in retail role
  • Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and data management skills.
  • Proactive and takes initiative, resourceful, and the ability to shift priorities in support of the business.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated agility and resourcefulness in solving problems and managing competing priorities.
  • Hybrid work environment: 3 days in the office required, more if needed

Responsibilities

  • Support the sourcing team with administrative and operational tasks critical to the management of the development and production process.
  • System savvy. Maintain supplier information (quote sheets, PI, AI), vendor set up, system updates (Netsuite), sample tracking, customer service follow up (gladly tickets), HTS classification
  • Receives daily guidance on work and new assignments.
  • New vendor set up
  • Tracking of all new product development.
  • Managing the delivery of all development samples.
  • Work with warehouse and photo studio to manage sample distribution and pick up.
  • Collect and review quote sheets for accuracy/completion
  • Submit product for HTS classification
  • Manage MOQ, leadtime, cost, dimension updated with merch ops
  • Track in season production, report any exceptions to their sourcing counterpart
  • Collect product information, assembly instructions, and final CADs
  • Manage/maintain TOPs
  • Organize stock pulls from the DC
  • Work with DC on non-compliance issue resolution due to vendor error/quality concerns
  • Ensure finish, transit, and construction testing is coordinated prior to production
  • Run point on Flexport issues i.e. HTS, documentation, commercial invoices, air freight costs
  • Review product issues slack channel and compile issues for Sourcing counterpart
  • Pull sigma reports as needed
