SCOPE: As the Sourcing Intelligence Specialist within Procurement Operations, you will be instrumental in empowering strategic decision-making for the Sourcing organization. This will be achieved by delivering critical market intelligence, insightful analytics, and effective analytical tools. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Business.
  • Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions 
  • Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend 
  • Must possess visual acuity to document company records 
  • Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Sourcing Enabling Technology
  • Power BI: Identify and prioritize report requirements and functionality to support purchasing order management, procurement metrics, departmental performance reporting, and category analytics.
  • Syspro (ERP): Exhibit strong knowledge of general planning, sourcing and purchasing system flow and the corresponding data available for reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration Tool: Support the development and implementation of a centralized collaboration platform to streamline Strategic Sourcing initiatives.
  • Microsoft Business Tools Expert: Serve as a point of expertise for departmental Microsoft applications, providing guidance and support.
  • Super User: Act as the department's subject matter expert for key systems including Syspro, Power BI, and other Microsoft business tools, offering training and support to users.
  • Future Technology: Manage project timelines and track the progress of key Supply Chain tool development objectives and the implementation of new technology initiatives.
  • Category Analytics
  • Leverage systems data and analytical tools to drive strategic sourcing decisions and generate value. This includes:
  • Commodity technical analytics
  • End-to-end cost optimization
  • Predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Should-cost modeling
  • Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Department and Supplier Metrics & Reporting
  • Market Insights
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, the supplier landscape, and potential opportunities and risks associated with specific products or categories.
  • Produce actionable and business-relevant market summaries for Sourcing and the leadership team, that clearly describe potential impacts and recommended actions.
  • Risk Assessment & Playbooks
  • Identify, assess, and propose mitigation strategies for potential risks associated with sourcing activities, collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers, Finance, and Leadership.
  • Develop risk playbooks outlining specific strategies and actions to be taken if identified risks materialize.
