The Special Events Associate is responsible for supporting the casino marketing team as a brand ambassador at Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The position will assist with event planning, greeting and guiding guests, and various special projects and events in the casino. The Special Events Coordinator will also assist with internal/employee focused special events. ROLE EXPECTATIONS Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction. Serve as a greeter, brand ambassador, usher and/or ticket taker for events. Research and input purchase orders for all event expenses (gifts, décor, entertainment, emcees, collateral, F&B). Assemble gift packages, mailers, welcome packets and other event related materials. Attend all casino events and assist in the overall event execution and supervision. Ensure 3rd party vendors have appropriate access and training. Assist with event set up and tear down for all events. Maintain accurate inventory of all events related materials and gifts/prizes. Support logistics of drawings, promotions, slot and tables tournaments, awarding prizes, and the completion of winner’s logs and other required auditing and compliance paperwork. Understands the basics of Title-31 in relation to their job functions. Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
