Specialist, Corporate Security - Contract Security Guard Operations
About The Position
The Specialist will be responsible for reviewing security contract guard activity at all Company locations with contractguards. Verify contract guard agencies adhere to the terms and conditions set forth in the contracts, the guards abide by theirpost orders and follow all applicable Company policies and procedures. Investigate guard deficiencies, monitor theirperformance and interact with all Company facility managers and Corporate Security Investigators to verify the guardstake proper security measures regarding the protection of Company facilities, personnel, and equipment. Prepare COS reports and Actionlines as appropriate. Mission Statement: Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. Responsibilities
- Reviewing security contract guard activity at all Company locations with contractguards.
- Verify contract guard agencies adhere to the terms and conditions set forth in the contracts
- Ensure the guards abide by their post orders and follow all applicable Company policies and procedures.
- Investigate guard deficiencies
- Monitor their performance
- Interact with all Company facility managers and Corporate Security Investigators to verify the guards take proper security measures regarding the protection of Company facilities, personnel, and equipment.
- Prepare COS reports and Actionlines as appropriate.
