Overview Manage HR processes, programs, reporting, and policies in a union environment for Florida Operations across six locations. As a member of the Florida Operations HR team, lead the employee onboarding experience, exit interview process, and attendance process, in addition to daily administrative and compliance tasks. Develop and present actionable recommendations that improve HR processes and drive effective HR solutions. This role is a feeder into other HRBP and/or COE roles, if desired.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience working in an HR-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to travel 5-10%

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational development support for business teams and functions to achieve current and future business goals; proactively engage with the HRBP leaders on people strategy
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and manage new hire onboarding
  • Facilitate exit interviews
  • Partner with HRBPs to ensure training and development programs are well communicated and embedded with employees and leaders
  • Provide support to HRBPs Employee and Labor Relations documentation such as Attendance Warnings, Performance Warnings/Documentation, Work Responsibility/Policy Violations
  • Provide Contract interpretation to advise managers with solutions that are following current collective bargaining agreements
  • Manage union compliance by sending required documents to the union by the deadlines established in the collective bargaining agreements
  • Provide HR policy interpretation and support performance management and talent management processes
  • Generate reports from available HR systems and provide analytics and insights
  • Ensure employee data in HR systems is accurate and current; submit documentation for adjustments
  • Remain knowledgeable, ensure compliance with, and answer general inquiries with regard to company policies, procedures, and programs which govern employees, including but not limited to, employee handbook and drug and alcohol testing program, collective bargaining agreements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
