Requirements

  • An Associates Degree, Information Technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PC Hardware, Active Directory, and IT Operation Management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Completing tickets related to PC software and hardware break fix on location.
  • Handling day-to-day service desk requests and resolving issues related to hardware and software on devices throughout the facility
  • This position is responsible for coordinating hardware procurement and creation of purchase requisitions within the company purchasing system.
  • Troubleshooting issues with network and SATO label printers including but not limited to clearing print job errors, clean printhead and guide rollers, install ribbons, toner replacements, and ordering new devices as needed.
  • Move IT equipment throughout plant as needed by the business as well as replace depreciated technology such as mice, keyboards, and monitors.
  • Responsible for imaging and deploying new computing devices; reimage existing devices as required.
  • Responsible for decommissioning and replacing end-of-life hardware within the facility in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist plant associates with password resets.
  • Configure devices for the manufacturing floor.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
