WE LOVE OUR WORK. SUMMARY: Greet and seat guests in restaurant in a courteous and timely manner, and ensure that they receive quality food and service. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Answer the phone. Take reservations, answer inquiries, take messages. Seat guests, greet and show them to seats. Maintain service in dining area. Check on customers periodically to ensure customer satisfaction with the food, service, etc. Assist with side work of servers and bussers (e.g., napkin folding, silverware polishing). Assist servers with set up tasks: wipe down station; straighten, polish, and roll silverware; wipe down and polish stem ware; refill condiments; wipe tables and chairs; check linens, etc. Assist servers with closing tasks: reset station for next shift, complete all closing duties according to assigned side work. Provide positive communication and use ACES Service skills with every patron and co-worker. Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff. May be required to perform duties at the Lawrenceburg Event Center (LEC). Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
