Job Title: Springvale Independent Living Manager Primary Function Responsible for the daily operation of the 40‑unit Springvale Independent Living Community. Maintains a positive public image and collaborates effectively with all HCMH departments and HCMH leadership.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Experience working with older adults preferred.
Successful completion of BCLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective residents and families, complete residency contracts, and oversee the move‑in process.
Maintain accurate and updated resident charts, including emergency contacts and safety‑related documentation.
Maintain and monitor the resident waiting list.
Develop and manage the departmental budget.
Oversee menus, meal service, and activity planning.
Assist with meal planning, menu coordination, and meal preparation for Springvale Independent and Assisted Living.
Collaborate with the dietary team and food vendors to ensure compliance with food service contracts, nutritional standards, and resident preferences.
Review and update policies and procedures as needed.
Investigate resident and family concerns and take appropriate action.
Utilize Point Click Care for resident admissions and discharges.
Navigate platforms such as EPIC Care Link, Multiview, and Lifeline.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families.
Present a professional, positive, and self‑motivated image.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exercise independent judgment, initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
Display flexibility, strong listening skills, motivation, and a positive attitude.
