Job Title: Springvale Independent Living Manager Primary Function Responsible for the daily operation of the 40‑unit Springvale Independent Living Community. Maintains a positive public image and collaborates effectively with all HCMH departments and HCMH leadership.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience working with older adults preferred.
  • Successful completion of BCLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective residents and families, complete residency contracts, and oversee the move‑in process.
  • Maintain accurate and updated resident charts, including emergency contacts and safety‑related documentation.
  • Maintain and monitor the resident waiting list.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget.
  • Oversee menus, meal service, and activity planning.
  • Assist with meal planning, menu coordination, and meal preparation for Springvale Independent and Assisted Living.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team and food vendors to ensure compliance with food service contracts, nutritional standards, and resident preferences.
  • Review and update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Investigate resident and family concerns and take appropriate action.
  • Utilize Point Click Care for resident admissions and discharges.
  • Navigate platforms such as EPIC Care Link, Multiview, and Lifeline.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Present a professional, positive, and self‑motivated image.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exercise independent judgment, initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Display flexibility, strong listening skills, motivation, and a positive attitude.
