About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer based in our Honolulu office. The Senior Civil Engineer will serve as the lead engineer on primarily waste water treatment projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects. Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Approves and signs off on work. Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts. Presents complex technical solutions to clients. Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others. Participates in development of technical proposals. Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Nice To Haves

• Professional License (PE)
• 10+ years design experience to include grading and drainage plans, water and wastewater plans, preparation of hydraulic calculations for drainage and utilities, preparation of storm water management reports, preparation of project development reports, preparation of civil engineering detail plans, and preparation of specifications in a variety of formats for all aspects of civil engineering projects
• 3 years of project management or deputy project management experience including responsible charge of supporting staff engineers as well as project contact and coordination with clients, stakeholders, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD including Civil 3D provide production support as a portion of team support and development.
