About The Position

A role within Corporate Security means protecting our Target community by managing physical security risks that have the potential to impact our team members, guests, and operations. Here, you may support our mission by generating intelligence & awareness, ensuring protective security, providing incident response, or guiding recovery & continuity procedures in the event of incidents or crises. The Sr Consultant of Program Readiness ensures smooth transitions during security-related changes, such as new policies, technologies, and processes. This role is vital in managing the people side of change, ensuring that security initiatives are adopted successfully, and contributing to improved organizational effectiveness. The Sr Consultant is also responsible for developing and maintaining essential documentation, including training guides, operating procedures, and response protocols, to facilitate seamless implementation and adoption.

Requirements

  • Expertise in change management principles and frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-step).
  • Experience in creating and maintaining training materials and documentation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of changes.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple change initiatives.
  • Ability to track, evaluate, and report on change management success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for security-related changes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize resistance and promote engagement during changes.
  • Create, update, and maintain documentation such as training guides, operating procedures, and response protocols.
  • Facilitate training sessions and communication efforts to help teams adopt new security policies and technologies.
  • Monitor the success of change initiatives and adjust strategies based on feedback and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to change adoption.
  • Measure the effectiveness of training materials and documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
