Meet the team: The Product Stewardship and Sustainability team sits at the intersection of innovation, responsibility, and global impact. We ensure Dexcom’s life‑changing medical technologies are designed, manufactured, and distributed in compliance with evolving environmental and chemical regulations—while pushing the organization toward smarter, more sustainable product decisions. This Product Stewardship role is hands‑on, highly visible, and essential to keeping Dexcom products compliant worldwide. You’ll work across disciplines, engage with global partners and suppliers, and help translate complex environmental regulations into practical, real‑world solutions. Where you come in: You will own Dexcom’s Product Stewardship program through the product development cycle by ensuring our continuous glucose monitors, accessories, and packaging comply with global environmental, materials and substances, and sustainability regulations and Dexcom’s internal requirements. You will conduct research and analysis of emerging and existing product-related environmental and EPR regulations to support compliance planning and risk identification. You will collaborate cross‑functionally and contribute to both day‑to‑day compliance execution and continuous improvement initiatives. You will evaluate materials and components against global environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EU REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, PFAS requirements, and battery regulations. You will support our market access team by acting as the Product Stewardship SME and ensuring our products meet customer requirements. You will support Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations, including managing third‑party vendors, coordination with Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), managing contracts, complete reporting requirements, track regulations across regions, and managing invoices. You will maintain and update product and packaging compliance data within internal systems to support audit readiness and reporting accuracy. You will contribute to Product Stewardship metrics, process improvements, standard work development, and continuous improvement efforts within the Product Stewardship program. You will support Dexcom’s Life Cycle Assessment efforts. Strong organizational and documentation skills, with experience managing compliance data, and reporting timelines. Demonstrated knowledge of global environmental regulations affecting Dexcom products and its packaging, including EPR frameworks and reporting obligations. Ability to support vendor coordination, compliance reporting, and invoicing related to regulatory or sustainability programs. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to research regulations, interpret requirements, and translate them into actionable compliance activities. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all Dexcom teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel required); experience with Smartsheet or compliance tracking systems is a plus. Quickly adapts to new regulations, tools, and technical concepts, applying learning effectively to compliance execution.
