As a Sr. Electrical Power Engineer (Data Center) II, you’ll serve as the senior technical authority for designing, evaluating, and sustaining electrical power systems supporting mission-critical telecommunications infrastructure with the goal to make an impact across the federal government. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • Possess DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role when this billet is cyber-coded, such as Security+ as a baseline with SSCP or CISSP for senior practitioners. If not cyber-coded, certification may be designated as not applicable.
  • 8+ years of experience focused on the evaluation, research, design, and analysis of complex electrical power systems supporting IT system power services.
  • Demonstrated expertise leading and executing electrical power engineering efforts across planning, design, monitoring, troubleshooting, evaluation, documentation, and acceptance activities.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing electrical systems for data centers and IT infrastructure, including power distribution, grounding, load analysis, UPS, ATS, and battery systems.
  • Operational experience supporting critical infrastructure power systems, including facilities power, redundancy planning, and availability assurance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Relevant experience may substitute where appropriate.
  • Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • Required technical certifications include Professional Engineer where stamped engineering is required and NFPA 70E.
  • This position is designated as essential personnel supporting continuity of operations and may require work during government shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations.
