Sr. Electronic Engineering Technician
About The Position
3dB Labs is a growing Defense Contractor focusing on Digital Signal Processing Software and Hardware with a diverse customer base. We are looking for Senior Electronic Engineering Technician to join our production team as we grow and scale our capabilities. As part of the Production team, you will support the day-to-day engineering team in both a hardware end software based technology environment. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines. The Sr. Electronic Engineering Technician will work alongside the team to help us build out and fulfill our ongoing product needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology or similar
- Experience assembling electronic components and working in ESD environments
- Experience with soldering
- Capable of working independently and training jr. team members
- 10-15 years experience
- US citizenship is required for all of our positions.

- Technical writing skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist engineering and production team in creating, testing, and modifying products
- Help create production plans for new product lines
- Install and configure computer hardware and software
- Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas for improvement
- Conduct tests and collect data related to hardware systems and document test results
- Create prototypes of systems
- Ability to work with Jr. members and help train when needed
- Operate and maintain test equipment
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Repair and replace damaged hardware
