ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The Senior Finance Analyst- Commercial is a key member of the Commercial Finance team within IDEX Health & Science (IH&S). This role delivers financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support profitability and growth. Primary focus is on IH&S sales consolidations ensuring accurate forecasting and actionable insights to drive business performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
3–5 years of professional Accounting or Finance experience, including financial analysis and preparation of accounting and financial reports.
Working knowledge of GAAP, with the ability to research and apply relevant accounting pronouncements.
Strong understanding of SOX requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Experience working with remote and global teams in a virtual environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Commercial Finance and/or FP&A preferred.
Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems; JD Edwards, OneStream, and Power BI strongly preferred.
Experience using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or similar) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Sales Forecasting & Analysis Develop and maintain quarterly, annual, monthly, and weekly sales forecasts for IH&S.
Analyze actual sales performance and provide clear explanations of variances against forecast.
Utilize customer forecast inputs, market intelligence, backlog information, and demand trends to produce accurate customer‑level sales projections, including considerations for projects, seasonality, and other key business drivers.
Partner with Sales and Product leaders to strengthen sales forecasting accuracy and recommend actions when results deviate from expectations.
Coordinate cross‑functional forecast inputs and validation with Sales, Customer Service, Customer Advocates, and Product Management.
Communicate forecast updates, drivers, and variances to site partners in Bristol, Middleboro, Rohnert Park, and to site Finance teams.
Business Performance, Reporting & Special Projects Support monthly business reviews through preparation, KPI tracking, performance insights, and root‑cause/countermeasure activities.
Participate in Power BI data initiatives, including ongoing consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting improvements and Sprints.
Leads and/or participates in special projects and assignments.
