About The Position

Mainstay Medical is a medical device company focused on marketing an innovative implantable neurostimulation system, ReActiv8®, for people with disabling chronic mechanical Low Back Pain. The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, with subsidiaries operating in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The Role: Role Overview: The Senior Manager, Commercial Technology & Enablement is responsible for owning, scaling, and continuously optimizing the commercial technology ecosystem that supports Sales, Marketing, Patient Access, Prior Authorization, Case Management, and Analytics. This role is responsible for strategy, operational execution, and technology enablement, ensuring that commercial tools are thoughtfully aligned and designed across functions, efficiently deployed, consistently adopted, and measurably impactful. This individual will operate as both a strategic leader and a hands-on executor, capable of moving quickly in a dynamic environment while maintaining structure, governance, and long-term vision. Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex and evolving business needs into clear technical solutions, prioritize competing demands, and proactively communicate direction, progress, and trade-offs. Salesforce will serve as a foundational platform, but this role spans a broader commercial technology ecosystem that may include payer portals, field intelligence tools, marketing tools, analytics and business intelligence platforms, automation solutions, and integrated downstream systems. The Senior Manager will be accountable not only for delivery, but for adoption, data integrity, and realized business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, commercial technology, or related leadership roles.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder credentials, with demonstrated experience owning a Salesforce platform roadmap, governance, and cross-functional execution in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including the ability to define data requirements, structure Salesforce outputs, and partner with analytics teams to support reporting and dashboards.
  • Experience enabling advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) by ensuring Salesforce data is structured, governed and delivered in a way that supports complex calculations, modeling and enterprise reporting.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce in a small, complex, multi-stakeholder commercial environment with rapidly evolving needs and competing priorities.
  • Experience with both one-way and bi-directional integrations.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability with experience defining and operationalizing KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage technology roadmaps in fast-moving organizations.
  • Proven success driving system adoption, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to operate effectively without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, med device, biotech, or other regulated commercial environments.
  • Application Architect, System Architect with experience in designing scalable, enterprise-level Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service and Analytics functions.
  • Experience with Marketing automation systems such as Hubspot.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial technology roadmap, from intake and prioritization through delivery, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
  • Translate high-level commercial objectives and operational challenges into structured, executable technology initiatives with clear scope, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Balance near-term execution needs with longer-term platform scalability, technical debt management, and future-state architecture.
  • Proactively communicate roadmap priorities, sequencing, and changes to stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and realistic expectations.
  • Establish and maintain decision rights and governance structures to reduce ambiguity, minimize ad-hoc requests, and drive disciplined execution.
  • Serve as the strategic owner and solution architect for Salesforce and related commercial systems.
  • Ensure system design reflects how teams actually work in the field and operationally, not just theoretical best practices.
  • Lead continuous optimization of objects, workflows, automation, dashboards, and integrations to support commercial performance.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Patient Access, Case Management, Marketing, Reimbursement, Finance, and IT to ensure systems enable efficient, compliant, and scalable ways of working.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to determine fit, value, and integration potential within the broader commercial ecosystem.
  • Establish and manage a formal intake process for new technology requests, enhancements, and issues.
  • Create clear expectations around scope, timing, and ownership for all approved initiatives.
  • Drive accountability through completion, ensuring work does not stall or drift without resolution.
  • Implement structured follow-up mechanisms post-deployment to confirm solutions are being used as intended and are delivering value.
  • Reduce rework and repeated one-off requests by standardizing solutions and reinforcing consistent ways of working.
  • Enforce data accuracy, reliability, and governance standards across all commercial systems.
  • Partner with Leadership & Finance to define and maintain KPIs that demonstrate operational efficiency, asset utilization, adoption, and business impact.
  • Ensure dashboards and reports are trusted, consistent, and executive ready.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and inefficiencies in system usage and data quality, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Establish accountability for data ownership and adherence to defined standards.
  • Proactively engage with business leaders and frontline teams to understand evolving needs and anticipate future requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who listens deeply, synthesizes input from a broad audience, and provides clear recommendations.
  • Balance flexibility with governance—knowing when to adapt and when to hold the line to protect scalability and consistency.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, practical, and business-oriented manner.
  • Support field-based teams by ensuring tools are intuitive, reliable, and aligned to real-world workflows.
  • Lead planning and coordination for system deployments, enhancements, and releases.
  • Ensure users are prepared and supported for system changes. Create and maintain work-instructions, videos, tutorials and live training sessions.
  • Drive adoption through clear communication, reinforcement, and accountability.
  • Monitor usage metrics and intervene when adoption falls short. Understand the root cause and take corrective action.
  • Help the organization transition from reactive problem-solving to proactive, planned execution by understanding business direction and creating systems that scale easily.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
  • Own outcomes regardless of whether work is delivered internally or externally.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuity across platforms.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to system performance, data quality, and scalability.
