About The Position

The Senior Manager of Content Distribution, Marketing, and Partnerships is a key member of the distribution team responsible for supporting and expanding the carriage of TV One and CLEO TV across MVPDs, vMVPDs, OTT, and emerging streaming platforms. This role blends strategic partnership development, B2B marketing, and relationship management to drive visibility, reach, and revenue for both networks. The ideal candidate is skilled at cultivating new opportunities, managing partner relationships, and navigating the evolving media distribution landscape.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, pitch, and secure distribution partnerships that expand network reach.
  • Experience in business development, contract negotiations, and partnership management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong partner relationships while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled in creating and delivering B2B marketing and promotional campaigns to support partner initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership.

  • Knowledge of audience measurement, ratings, and digital analytics tools (Nielsen, Comscore, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of multi-platform distribution strategies across linear, OTT, AVOD, SVOD, FAST, and vMVPD platforms.
  • Assist in prospecting, pitching, and onboarding new distribution partners, particularly within NCTC, regional MVPDs, and emerging streaming services.
  • Maintain and grow existing partner relationships to ensure continued carriage, platform support, and long-term business growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, programming, legal, finance) to ensure partner commitments and campaigns are executed successfully.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and partner performance to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments.
