About The Position

Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world. Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and designing the most effective programs to profitability meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging, and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey. The Sr. Specialist Marketing will be a key contributor to the ongoing growth and success of Gartner by supporting the execution of demand generation campaigns, sales enablement, and pipeline progression for the Global Technology Sales (GTS) aligned to the Global Enterprise region and various customer roles targeted by Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or Communications preferred)
  • 2-4 years’ experience working within Marketing or Digital Marketing; prefer large or global technology company experience
  • Prior experience supporting large enterprise-focused sales teams
  • Proven experience supporting the development of successful integrated marketing or demand generation programs
  • Self-motivated with excellent project management, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conceptualize and build integrated cross-functional lead generation campaigns, and present work confidently to leaders
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a collaborative fast-paced, fast-changing hybrid work environment
  • Curiosity and confidence to ask questions when uncertain or unclear on how to proceed or to assert innovative ideas
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Eloqua, or other similar applications and AI tools (Chat GPT, Claude, Copilot).
  • Samples of writing: email, collateral, landing pages, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Sales to support program and strategy alignment
  • Service Sales requests from marketing
  • Create regional demand and lead generation campaigns designed to target specific customer personas and drive quality leads to Sales to build pipeline
  • Develop and execute Sales enablement programs to progress pipeline
  • Assist with the development and execution of global role-based campaigns
  • Support the execution of strategies and campaigns, including but not limited to, writing content and messaging for campaign briefs, paid search ads, sales enablement, landing pages, nurture emails, newsletters, and social media
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence, Program Managers, Sales, and other cross-functional partners to coordinate the execution and delivery of integrated marketing programs
  • Report on lead activity to support pipeline progression and campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Project manage and track campaign performance; proactively provide recommendations for campaign optimization and report on success metrics using analytics and Power BI tools
