About The Position

Serve top-tier customers in Energy and Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS), supporting them through their cloud adoption journey, from initial architecture design through production operations, while building and maintaining executive relationships with AWS's most strategic accounts. Develop and execute global strategies to drive customer success and AWS adoption across our enterprise customer base. Possess executive presence and strategic thinking capabilities representing AWS at the highest levels within customer organizations, leading complex discussions around cloud transformation and operational excellence. Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges while helping customers leverage cloud capabilities to drive significant business outcomes. Lead a global team of managers and Technical Account Managers, establishing the operational framework for supporting Energy and HCLS AWS customers operating across strategic industries. Work closely with area leaders across multiple AWS teams to develop and execute global strategies for launching and operating mission-critical workloads. Oversee operational reviews across your organization, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as the senior escalation point for critical customer issues. Act as a strategic voice of the customer within AWS, influencing product roadmaps and regional investment priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field and seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Employer will accept ten years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and seven years of experience.
  • Must have seven years of experience in the following skills: (1) experience with people management; (2) developing and executing strategic initiatives; (3) experience with strategic leadership for 15+ customers; (4) experience with people managing 15+ individual contributors; (5) experience with performance management; (6) experience with account planning; (7) experience with local to geo project and program management; and (8) experience with cloud infrastructure.
  • 100% telecommuting permitted; work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel to perform role responsibilities may be required.
