About The Position

As a Senior OMS Developer, this is a crucial role in designing and developing technical solutions on the Manhattan Active Omni platform. Requirements

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Retail Merchandising, or related technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Technical, Business or Systems Analyst role
  • 5+ years of experience with Manhattan Associates Order Management System (OMS) – strong understanding of distributed order management, ship from store, BOPIS and payment processing
  • 3+ years of experience using SOAP UI and Postman as well as first hand knowledge on XML/XSLT, JSON and HTTP concepts
  • Perform change management functions associated with larger scale/impact configuration for order management application
  • Responsible for pro-actively supporting other teams (analysis, gather metrics, review complaince, etc.) to drive business SLAs
  • Working in information technology doing application analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Experience in retail and an in-depth knowledge of retail business processes
  • Ability to create clear, structured and effective documentation
  • Ability to create, manage and enforce application configuration and SDLC standards.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others in the performance of assigned duties.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct meetings with business executives, partners and peers.
  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal communication with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and working knowledege of SQL

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical solutions on the Manhattan Active Omni platform.
  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance the OMS platform, driving predictive analytics and process optimization.
  • Analyze complex problems and break them down into manageable components.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate tasks effectively across multiple projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, and other developers.
  • Optimize order management workflows, including distributed order management, ship-from store, and BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick-up In-Store).
  • Embrace new tools, languages, and frameworks as needed.
  • Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates.
  • Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, architects, and offshore resources, fostering technical Lead projects through all development phases, from design to deployment.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
