About The Position

Sr. Pricing Specialist Location: Irving, TX, 75063 Responsibilities: Build, nurture and grow existing customer/ carrier relationships, including managing all client communications in a timely manner, assisting customers as needed, and ensuring all customers’ needs are met. Solicit additional freight opportunities from current customers. Assist to manage all account communication in a timely and professional manner. Provide useful and timely pricing updates. Actively manage to follow up of opportunities within existing accounts. Assist to source capacity to meet customer needs. Complete pricing requests and customer bids. Provide creative solutions for complex transportation situations as they arise. Work directly with operations to support customer accounts. Utilize company resources to identify cost and service requirements are being met. Assist Sales Representatives in obtaining rates for Intermodal/Drayage load opportunities. Provide service updates between the sales department, customers, and carriers. Assist with Intermodal/Drayage pricing based on customer requirements. Create and manage strong relationships with Intermodal/Drayage carriers. Assist in preparing quotes for spot market and contractual shipments. Maintain and update internal pricing databases and rate sheets. Analyze lane data and cost structures to support the Pricing Manager in decision-making. Monitor carrier performance and market index rates daily.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous experience managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineers
  • Previous experience as a Drayage Account Manager or Operations Representative (or similar experience)
  • A direct, empathetic communicator
  • Excited to deliver high-quality customer success at a fast pace
  • Comfortable with fast-paced growth
