Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The MONARCH™ Platform was first introduced in 2018, creating a new category of care as the first endoluminal robotic-assisted bronchoscopy platform designed to help physicians access small, hard-to-reach lung nodules to enable earlier diagnosis of lung cancer. The Monarch Platform, Urology, will also create a new category of care as the first robotic-assisted urology platform designed for endoluminal and percutaneous access of organs across the urinary tract to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Product Management or Clinical Engineering roles, or 5-7 years of progressive experience across MedTech product management, marketing, engineering, sales, or education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to customers and internal leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze customer needs, VOC, and market data, and then synthesize into clear and compelling product strategies and narratives.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to simplify complexity and effectively prioritize work.
  • A self-starter who prides themself as being the product expert and voice for the customer/field.
  • Works selflessly to achieve results and advance a team mission.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in product and project management methodologies, product development stage gates, commercial launches, and/or sustaining engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global product launch and sustaining efforts cross-functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders for next generation MONARCH software, hardware, and instruments.
  • Ensure execution of the product launch process, including limited market release planning, primarily in the US but also global launches when needed.
  • Drive product claims development, pricing, market introduction timing, phase in/phase out, training, and procedure support.
  • Propose product feature updates and next-generation capabilities aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Serve as the single point of contact and liaison to develop, communicate, escalate, and execute key launch deliverables.
  • Proactively identify product/field risks and lead resolution handling by developing solutions and execution plans.
  • Measure product performance and customer satisfaction by monitoring product adoption and conducting VOC research.
  • Monitor and prioritize product quality improvements on the product roadmap.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues, critical customer issues, and field actions/escalations.
  • Manage downstream partnerships with key development partners, including integration rollout, while coordinating key technical workstreams for on-going product refinements and roadmap development.
  • Define appropriate product launch and performance metrics to drive decisions on rollout, product lifecycle, demand/supply forecast, and global expansion.
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements by analyzing system level data, product return data, and product complaint data.
  • Serve as conduit between the field and product management team by providing real-time insights from customers and field-based teams.
  • Understand competitive, emerging, and complimentary technologies, and their impact on the MONARCH product portfolio, including go-to-market strategy.
  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC), Market Research, and Competitive Market Assessments in support of new product development decisions.
