DePuy Synthes is seeking a Sr Project Lead to support our Spine business located in Raynham, MA. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics' company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech As a member of the Supply Chain Product Management group, the individual will serve as E2E supply chain lead or support on projects, including New Product Development, Innovation, Growth, and Value projects and lead and support a multi functional team through successful launch execution. They will build and develop optimized supply chain strategies for sophisticated global programs and lead teams through standardized launch management processes, ensuring strong accountability! They will demonstrate strong program management capabilities and launch management expertise to drive end-to-end value, collaborating heavily with commercial, R&D, quality and other supply chain partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Business, or a related Field
  • A minimum of four (4) years of work experience in supply chain, operations, engineering or quality
  • Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation) to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a complex matrix organization and achieving results through employing internal and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills
  • Proven ability to successfully lead large sophisticated programs

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Global Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences experience
  • Project management methodology certification (e.g., PMP/PMI, FPX)
  • Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; certification

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to develop and organize the end-to-end supply chain for the delivery of large global supply chain programs
  • Drives adherence to supply chain readiness process ensuring strong functional accountability
  • Develop and lead initiatives to ensure supply chain reliability, quality, compliance, and profitability while maintaining project commitments
  • Lead/Implement projects in line with standard project management guidelines
  • Develops the end-to-end value chain for new products, ensuring alignment with key business partners and strategies
  • Develop strong business partner relationships throughout the organization to drive alignment on strategic priorities
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including accurate and effective project planning, creation of shared team goals, leading resolution of risks & issues, risk management and balancing multiple activities to accomplish goals
  • Communications to partners across multiple levels of the organization
  • Instill and ensure time sensitivity and end customer needs within the team in collaboration with external manufacturing partners and strategic collaborator
